The WebFX International Teams Hiring Process
While we’ve successfully grown our U.S. team over the past 10+ years, our need to find talented individuals that can help contribute to our client’s ongoing success remains everpresent. As a result, we expanded our search to an international level and, in doing so, have found even more talent in over 18 countries and counting!

Our interview process is set up so we can get to know you beyond what you can fit on a CV, and you can also get to know us (you need to ensure it is a great fit for you as well after all!). We’ve found the best way to ensure we’re a great fit for each other is to offer a few opportunities where you’ll get to meet with different members of the hiring team and have the opportunity to highlight your skills in different ways. We love to offer a variety of ways to get to know you as some people shine in written form while others prefer face-to-face interactions! At WebFX, our hiring process is the same for every single open position. We have the same steps and the same hiring team for each role. All of our positions are entry-level and include comprehensive training during the onboarding process. We’ve uniquely structured our process this way because it allows our hiring team to evaluate the very best position fit for each applicant.
By offering you multiple conversations and steps with different members of the team, it allows all of us to work together to recommend the very best position fit that aligns most closely with your goals and interests.
Sometimes that’s the initial position an applicant initially applies for and sometimes it’s a similar but slightly different role that better compliments the applicant’s preferences. We know that our applicants want to find a career they’ll love and our goal is the same – to help candidates feel fulfilled and engaged in their position, not just for a week or a year but for many years to come.

Head over to our employment page and follow the link to the online application for the position in the location you’re interested in applying to. If you are interested in multiple roles, you can just apply to one and we will keep you in mind for all of our available roles, no need to take the time to apply multiple times!

2. First Video Interview

One of our Talent Acquisition Specialists will review your application, and if it seems like a potentially great fit, they will reach out to you via email to schedule a ~20-30 minute virtual interview to review your application a bit further. During this interview, we’ll ask you questions and offer you an opportunity to ask us some questions too.

3. Written Interview

Following our first interview, our team will review notes and discuss the next steps regarding your application. If we decide to move your application forward to the next part of the interview process, the Talent Acquisition Specialist you’ve been in contact with during the process will follow up with you via email. This email will contain links to a written interview and personality self-assessment, as well as the EFSet 50 (English) test. This portion of the interview process will help us dig even deeper into your recent job experiences, your accomplishments, and your hopes for the future. Our team members pride themselves on their writing and communication skills; take this opportunity to show us what you’re capable of!
Testing & Trial Projects
For certain positions, such as designers or developers, this part of the interview process also includes either a trial project or test to help us get a sense of how you work; plus, it gives you a chance to understand some of our processes. Think of it as an opportunity to demonstrate your skills and abilities; we look forward to seeing your skills shine!

4. Second Video Interview

Following your completion of the written interview items, our team will review your responses and scores. If we decide to move you forward to the next stage of the interview process, your dedicated Talent Acquisition Specialist will email you to schedule a second interview that will be ~1-1.5 hours. We’ll discuss your written interview responses as well as your trial project or test (if applicable). This will give us an opportunity to ask some more questions and get to know you better, and you’ll have the opportunity to ask us any additional questions that might’ve come up throughout the interview process.

5. “The Caucus”

After we’ve had the opportunity to get to know one another and you’ve been able to show us what you’re capable of, the hiring team will have a series of discussions with members of the respective WebFX team you’re interviewing for and come to a decision. If you’ve left us impressed, we’ll extend an offer of employment within 1-4 weeks (we will let you know either way, however, at any point in the process!). WebFX is a family and as such we want to take the time to ensure this is the right fit for both parties.
