It’s a Fiverr’s choice listing, so it has to be great, right? Well, it doesn’t seem like that once you get into the weeds of the profile. This seller mentions top industry leaders like Moz and Ahrefs as their previous clients, but the descriptions of what services they lent to them are incredibly vague and confusing. Check them out below:

Moz: “Worked for my clients Moz Domain Authority increment in white hat way without redirect backlinks including Real estate, Dentist, Automotive, Health, casino niches and also more. I helped grow their business with my best SEO strategy.”

Ahrefs: “We Have Done White Hat SEO Work For Our Client Site Regarding To Increase Ahrefs Domain Rating High, We have Ranked Their Sites Keywords in SERP and Improve Site authority in Very Short Period.”

Not only does that all sound self-generated, but it’s vague and doesn’t actually answer any questions. If we were writing this article like that, would you still be here, listening to what we have to say?

But maybe we’re being harsh and judging a Fiverr SEO service listing by its cover a little too quickly. Let’s keep scrolling through their profile.

Unreliable reviews

As we dig a bit deeper into this Fiverr SEO service listing, we come to the reviews. Reviews are one of the best ways to vet any agency or freelancer — the voices of past clients speak volumes.

Unfortunately, like those Moz and Ahrefs descriptions, the client reviews for this Gig are way too vague to be real, only saying things like “Thank you for the work” and “Excellent service.” They don’t offer any insight whatsoever into the scope of the project that was done for them or the results they saw from it.

To top it off, it’s clear these reviews were bought because they are multiple duplicate comments by the same usernames, all with 5-star reviews. In other words, they’re not legit.

Buying reviews isn’t a sustainable strategy and projects an unrealistic rating on the seller. For many potential customers, it also looks phony, especially when the exact same reviews are posted multiple times with no substance to them whatsoever.

Short-term success? Maybe.
